Historical context and explicit planning controls

Portfolio Analysis & Buy Planner

Analysis only—not investment advice, a forecast, or trade execution. Saved weights are targets, not proof of actual holdings or cash.

1. Saved target portfolio

Up to 40 symbols and five calendar years. Raw OHLC and adjusted-close analytics remain explicitly separate; missing or invalid history is shown, never filled.

2. Optional actual holdings

Confirm the CSV covers the whole account or portfolio being planned. Values remain only in JavaScript memory and clear on portfolio switch, departure, or sign-out.

No holdings imported.

Headers: ticker,dollar_value. Maximum 200 rows/256 KB. CASH remains in the denominator. No holdings API, persistence, broker login, or workbook upload is used.

3. Explicit planning funds

This confirmation prevents CASH from being counted twice. Reserve is never inferred or automatically deployed.

Optional target distribution allocates regular-investment cents in saved-target proportion using largest remainders. Reserve fields remain unchanged.

Load analysis, enter explicit regular and reserve purchases per asset, and confirm reserve provenance. Nothing is traded.

How the history and plan are used

Raw OHLC drives the native candlestick chart and selected raw 15/30/60-session moving averages. Adjusted close—kept distinct—drives returns, volatility, drawdown, and rarity. Missing observations are not filled. The raw watch zone remains a transparent heuristic, not a signal or forecast.

Regular purchases and reserve purchases are independent buckets. Purchases cannot exceed either confirmed bucket; residuals are shown as cash. Reserve already in imported CASH transfers to assets without enlarging the denominator; external reserve enters once as new funds. Unset provenance disables after-weights. Without complete holdings, results are planning amounts only. No sale, trade, hard concentration cap, or automatic reserve deployment occurs.
